ISO 14001:2015 Audit

Our assessment of vessel and office compliance of the company’s Environmental Management Systems provides factual reports of the level of compliance and best practices to demonstrate continuous improvement. Conducting an environmental audit is no longer an option but a sound precaution and a proactive measure in today’s heavily regulated environment. Indeed, evidence suggests that Marine Consultant has a valuable role to play, encouraging systematic incorporation of environmental perspectives into many aspects of an organization’s overall operation, helping to trigger new awareness and new priorities in policies and practices.

Mooring audit:

Mooring audits are performed with the aim to first evaluate and secondly to assist the crew to understand the most effective practices of conducting a safe mooring operation and understand the design limitation of proper mooring equipment. Current workflows are audited towards established procedures as well as industry standards and best practices.

Effective planning, awareness, and familiarization with the ship’s machinery and equipment along with leadership and cooperation of the team are evaluated. During Mooring audits, operational practices and compliance with industry guidelines and Company’s procedures are audited. Leadership, mooring skills, and effectiveness of the personnel, involved in mooring operations, are evaluated.

The condition of mooring equipment and compliance with international requirements is verified. We deliver to the client a comprehensive report analyzing the results of the audits, by identifying areas of improvement and potential risks, as well as proposing effective preventive measures and ad-hoc training.

VDR remote Audits

VDR remote audit

During remote VDR audit, we playback and fully review any part of the VDR downloaded data against your company’s Navigational Policies & Procedures, Navigational Regulations & Standards and Industry’s Best Practices. After completion of the review, we record and communicate findings and provide you with a comprehensive VDR Data Analysis Report which will enclose detailed information (as derived from VDR data retrieval) regarding vessel’s compliance with the International Regulations, Navigational Standards and Company’s Policies & Procedures.
